Description

Perhaps depicting an Edo period personal injury lawsuit. The injured man claims, "I fell off the palanquin because of the improper pace of the palanquin carriers, I will report this insolence to the bakufu." He then reaches a settlement with the people of the post station and the palanquin carriers.
